Environment

Required

OPENAI_API_KEY - OpenAI API key.
REDIS_URL_TEST - Redis server URL used for caching third-party API calls during testing.

Optional

ANTHROPIC_API_KEY - Anthropic API key (docs)
SERPAPI_API_KEY - SerpApi API key (docs)
METAPHOR_API_KEY - Metaphor API key (docs)

Local Testing

Ensure you have REDIS_URL_TEST set to a valid redis connection URL.

pnpm test

Agentic uses ava as its test runner. To just execute unit tests, run:

pnpm test:unit

To run a specific test, use the --match flag like so:

pnpm test:unit --match='name of the test'
