+It depends entirely on what you're doing, a couple of checks using the standard HTTP fetcher then a 1Gb instance with 1 CPU core is enough, but for hundreds of checks, or checks that are going to use the webdriver plugin for javascript support, then it depends on how heavy you think having many chrome instances is going to be on that system
